19th Century Boxwood and Ebonized Base Tea Caddy, English, circa 1820

19th century boxwood and ebonized base tea caddy in the form of a flower with a dome glass panel which holds a small bouquet of dried flowers. The interior is all original with remnants of a lead lining date circa 1820.

Hallmarked for Chester 1910, Maker Sampson Mordant.

This quality silver cast frame with applied guilloche enamel is all original including the morocco leather back & easel support.
