19th Century Boxwood and Ebonized Base Tea Caddy, English, circa 1820

19th century boxwood and ebonized base tea caddy in the form of a flower with a dome glass panel which holds a small bouquet of dried flowers. The interior is all original with remnants of a lead lining date circa 1820.

A great colour and size with well matched supple skins with raised central panel, the interior is in suede with the words Genuine Crocodile. There is a side zip pocket & slip pocket, there are two interior side sections for extra items and also a outer zip side pocket. An additional external zip at each end of the bag for added security. The large flap is a great addition look and the underside holds the magnetic catch. All silver tone metal work on handles and it has four protective feet.
