19th Century Boxwood and Ebonized Base Tea Caddy, English, circa 1820

19th century boxwood and ebonized base tea caddy in the form of a flower with a dome glass panel which holds a small bouquet of dried flowers. The interior is all original with remnants of a lead lining date circa 1820.

A beautiful pair of frames the tortoiseshell has a beautiful light & shade patina. The silver has full makers mark and date letter. Origin England & they are both in excellent condition.

Makers Horton and Allday dated Birmingham 1902.
