19th Century Boxwood and Ebonized Base Tea Caddy, English, circa 1820

19th century boxwood and ebonized base tea caddy in the form of a flower with a dome glass panel which holds a small bouquet of dried flowers. The interior is all original with remnants of a lead lining date circa 1820.

This quality heavy gauge frame is in excellent condition & the enamel retains its translucent quality. The back has been refurbished in leather it stands in the portrait position.
