19th Century Boxwood and Ebonized Base Tea Caddy, English, circa 1820

19th century boxwood and ebonized base tea caddy in the form of a flower with a dome glass panel which holds a small bouquet of dried flowers. The interior is all original with remnants of a lead lining date circa 1820.

Something for the desk, a beautiful quality heavy glass and silver clock inkwell. The swivel top lid allows the Goliath watch to be removed for winding. Fully hallmarked to each individual piece. Dated Birmingham, 1904 by makers marks J G & S.
