19th Century Boxwood and Ebonized Base Tea Caddy, English, circa 1820

19th century boxwood and ebonized base tea caddy in the form of a flower with a dome glass panel which holds a small bouquet of dried flowers. The interior is all original with remnants of a lead lining date circa 1820.

An impressive desk piece that is in excellent condition. The actual clock was made by the British United clock Co Ltd. The back and easel support have been recovered in black Moroccan leather.
