19th Century Boxwood and Ebonized Base Tea Caddy, English, circa 1820

19th century boxwood and ebonized base tea caddy in the form of a flower with a dome glass panel which holds a small bouquet of dried flowers. The interior is all original with remnants of a lead lining date circa 1820.

Early 20th century tortoiseshell and silver desk set by maker William Comyns comprising of a stationary box and folder both in excellent conditions. The tortoiseshell has a translucent quality especially on the box lid & the shell has been curved to add to its form both pieces have their red silk interiors are in good condition. The silver overlay with a figurative pastoral scene is in excellent condition.
