19th Century Boxwood and Ebonized Base Tea Caddy, English, circa 1820

19th century boxwood and ebonized base tea caddy in the form of a flower with a dome glass panel which holds a small bouquet of dried flowers. The interior is all original with remnants of a lead lining date circa 1820.

This beautiful 925 sterling hammered silver time piece is all in original condition and the enamel retains its translucent quality. The timepiece is in working order. The English oak back is carved to replicate the shape of the silver.
