19th Century Boxwood and Ebonized Base Tea Caddy, English, circa 1820

19th century boxwood and ebonized base tea caddy in the form of a flower with a dome glass panel which holds a small bouquet of dried flowers. The interior is all original with remnants of a lead lining date circa 1820.

A beautifully quality object by David Andersen both in the silver & fine enamel decoration which gives the appearance of fine rings to both the bowl & cover the darker green to the finial is replicated to the outer rings on the lid. Date circa 1930 silver 925 Also shown in the images alongside a large enamel frame, available separately.
