19th Century Boxwood and Ebonized Base Tea Caddy, English, circa 1820

19th century boxwood and ebonized base tea caddy in the form of a flower with a dome glass panel which holds a small bouquet of dried flowers. The interior is all original with remnants of a lead lining date circa 1820.

A mid-20th century silver box with a aquatic mosaic scene on the lid. Marked 925 in an oval, English, circa 1960 The silver is very good heavy quality. This very amusing scene which incorporates many specimens including Lapis, malachite, yellow crystal of sulphur, red marble rock to replicate coral, quartz veins, with a back drop of brown vein marble picture framed in black onyx.
