19th Century Boxwood and Ebonized Base Tea Caddy, English, circa 1820

19th century boxwood and ebonized base tea caddy in the form of a flower with a dome glass panel which holds a small bouquet of dried flowers. The interior is all original with remnants of a lead lining date circa 1820.

This beautiful quality piece is so well designed, especially the shape which has been formed to give a mirrored reflection. It would be ideal in either the bar or dinning area, and would also make a wonderful gift.
