19th Century Boxwood and Ebonized Base Tea Caddy, English, circa 1820

19th century boxwood and ebonized base tea caddy in the form of a flower with a dome glass panel which holds a small bouquet of dried flowers. The interior is all original with remnants of a lead lining date circa 1820.

The shagreen is a beautiful muted green, they have applied coronets at the top leading edge position & giving the title of Baronet. The backs are in dark satin wood with gilded fixings.
