19th Century Boxwood and Ebonized Base Tea Caddy, English, circa 1820

19th century boxwood and ebonized base tea caddy in the form of a flower with a dome glass panel which holds a small bouquet of dried flowers. The interior is all original with remnants of a lead lining date circa 1820.

Pair of 18th century French enamel tea caddies in excellent condition. The exterior pastoral scenes on each panel including the lids are all well executed. The interiors are clean with just a small blemish on one caddy just under the lid just exposing the copper body.


Date circa 1780-1790.
