19th Century Boxwood and Ebonized Base Tea Caddy, English, circa 1820

19th century boxwood and ebonized base tea caddy in the form of a flower with a dome glass panel which holds a small bouquet of dried flowers. The interior is all original with remnants of a lead lining date circa 1820.

This great pair of shagreen frames in a beautiful muted taupe colour. The silver corners are unmarked. The backs and easel supports are in morocco leather.
