19th Century Boxwood and Ebonized Base Tea Caddy, English, circa 1820

19th century boxwood and ebonized base tea caddy in the form of a flower with a dome glass panel which holds a small bouquet of dried flowers. The interior is all original with remnants of a lead lining date circa 1820.

A rare and desirable tortoise novelty silver bell dated London 1897 by maker Joseph Braham. Both the shell and base are both fully assayed with makers marks. The bell can be operated by depressing the head or the tail.
