19th Century Boxwood and Ebonized Base Tea Caddy, English, circa 1820

19th century boxwood and ebonized base tea caddy in the form of a flower with a dome glass panel which holds a small bouquet of dried flowers. The interior is all original with remnants of a lead lining date circa 1820.

This piece is beautifully made with a high quality gauge of silver. The bottom compartment takes good size cigars and is cedar lined. The middle compartment is for cigarettes, and the match and vesta are at the top with cigar cutter. This piece is in excellent condition.
