This is a beautifully designed 20th century Art Deco sterling silver and guilloche enamel photograph frame, by Maker Henry Matthews, Birmingham 1925. 

Stunning vibrant and translucent red guilloche enamel frames the piece which is intricately applied into sections, divided by sterling silver. The frame is in excellent condition and it retains its original back & easel strut.

About the maker:  Henry Matthews was a Birmingham based silversmith. His first mark was registered in 1894 and he is remembered for his small silver items that required great attention to detail. His production stopped in 1930.
