A Rare Mid 20th Century Scandinavian Sterling Silver & Enamel Cocktail Shaker Maker J Tostrup Circa 1950-55 with Shot cups by Gustaf Janson Circa 1950.

The cocktail shaker base has a slender segmented body with marks for J Tostrop and the interior has its strainer which fits well. Surmounted on this is the lid with cushion fit and decorated with Cobalt Blue translucent enamel.

The six cups with the shaker are by Maker signed Gustaf Janson, marked sterling.

The pieces sits in the original box, the interior lid does have a slight water mark to lower left side and I do have a close image of this if requested. It retains its original centred retailers mark.

The cocktails shaker and cups are presented in it's original box with engraved text on a Plaque wording, Riley & Juan Felipe Yriart Stockholm 1955-1959, Ambassador of Uruguay.
He also held the same position as Ambassador to United States from 1963 -1969.
